The Zen Of Internet Marketing Rotating Header Image

Why most websites never get noticed…

The Website Conundrum.

Let’s assume that you have just decided to place your business at a typical, old-fashioned Web host (ex., Yahoo!, 1&1, etc.). Let’s follow your progress.

First, why would you make this decision? It won’t be due to overwhelming proof of success. There is none. Nor will you find a Family Bulletin Board…they only take pride in financial statements (theirs). No, more than likely, you accepted the lure of cheap (even free!), quick, easy “business hosting.”

Soon, though, you realize you are spinning your wheels. You need to upgrade to their “Premium Package”. You buy two key add-on modules (yes, in addition to the Premium Package, at an additional monthly cost). And you have to hire a Webmaster to help you coordinate all this, as well as customize one of the programs that “came free” with your hosting.

In a few months, you’re spending an hour or two per day researching the Web to “keep up” and trying to figure out how to build traffic. You’re reading several Net marketing e-zines, worrying about technical and Search Engine issues (two of the Search Engine zines…yet another yearly subscription and another cost). And you’re buying more and more expensive third-party software, on the excited say-so of this expert or that.

Non-SiteBuildIt! owners waste so much time and money chasing the holy grail of traffic. Despite paying top dollar for “Premium Packages,” programmers and costly software packages, their sites sit idle, unvisited.

SO WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?

SiteBuildIt! from SiteSell.com…

. SitebuildIt! (SBI) sites are largely in the Top 3%. And, after one year, SBI! owners spend a fraction of the time and money building their web businesses. Every bit of that reserve goes into building their business, not fighting the barriers.

Non SBI! sites are lost on the web because they all follow the same doomed route. Here’s the big picture, old-fashioned vs. SiteBuildIt! comparison…

. high prices (those add-ons add up) vs. one low price

. major time loss (fighting barriers) vs. efficient focus on business

. learning curves and complexity vs. “follow the Action Guide”

. “marketing noise” chasing you at every turn vs. “follow the Action Guide”

. no clean step-by-step process vs. “follow the Action Guide”

. scattered information, process, and tools vs. complete and integrated set of the right tools

. no knowledgeable community and culture of success vs. the help-and-be-helped SBI! Forums.

. corporate focus on their bottom line vs. SiteSell’s focus on your bottom line.

Net comparison? Almost all non-SBI! sites languish unvisited. SBI! sites receive hundreds and thousands of visitors per day. Free, interested, warm visitors. Imagine what that would mean to your bottom line.

TRAFFIC!

Your topical content ranks high at the Search Engines (ex., Google, Yahoo! MSN), attracting free, targeted (i.e., interested), open-to-you visitors. Basically, these future customers “meet you” at your site. These visitors are known as “Traffic.” How well does SBI! drive “Traffic”?…To the Top 3%.

Traffic Building Results…

There are over 56 million sites on the Web. 1,000 randomly selected SiteBuildIt! sites were recently studied.

All statistics are according to Netcraft.com, a leading Net demographic firm and according to Alexa.com, the leading traffic-measurement company. Netcraft tracks the Web hosting industry intensively. Alexa is owned by Amazon.com and powered by Google…it measures traffic-popularity based on 10 million surfers.

Summary of Results…

. 35% of SBI! sites ranked in the top 1% of all sites (i.e., their Alexa Traffic Rank was in the Top 560,000, higher than 99% of all sites on the Web).
. 53% were in the top 2%
. 62% scored in the top 3%.

This survey was first performed 2 years earlier. How does the current survey compare? SBI! site owners were doing well 2 years ago. And they are doing even better now, ranking higher despite “competition” from far more Web sites.

As the years go by, as the Web becomes more and more competitive, the natural and powerful process and tools of SBI! continue to show their strength.

  1. The reason no sites get noticed is becase consumers now find infomation through a search engine (unless it is a brand, e.g. http://www.dell.com).

Keywords are getting more and more competitive and so the only way to do well is to have fantastic content riddled with your keywords and to create backlinks for those specific search terms.

In view of hosts it does not matter what you go for, and in my opinion Blogger is a great place to start with no experience and WordPress built sites are the place to be.

Hardly any new websites nowadays unless they pay through the roof are HTML.

The fact is ‘zen’ that you can get any site found – it doesn’t matter who is the host and ‘Sitesell’ doesn’t do a thing. A good seo campaign is good and Twitter campaigns are fantastic.

You can get your site found through various methods one of which is not Sitesell.

  2. When I first got into Internet marketing, I felt completely overwhelmed until I came across several articles on the internet about the basics of Internet Marketing. I broke down what I should be doing and how to get started with the Internet marketing basics instead of assuming I knew how to find keywords or how to set up a website.
